Want definitive proof that the rock saga spans generations? So you must watch this rather insane sequence in which a little nine-year-old boy delivers the iconic monologue from the feature film Rocky Balboa, one of those movie performances that gives you courage!
If the scene set in Philadelphia during the first Rocky Day is so incredible, it’s because the kid in question is performing it… in front of Sylvester Stallone himself! And he does it with such brilliance that we almost at times get the impression that he knows the text better than the legendary boxer interpreter, genuinely impressed by the performance.
The speech, which a young Ro Knight delivers with great gusto, is taken from Rocky Balboa, the sixth installment in the franchise that hit theaters in 2006. We see Rocky talking to his son, played by Milo, in the middle of the street. Ventimiglia, what a real life lesson.
The sequence, which took place at the base of the Rock Statue in front of the Philadelphia Museum of Art, can be seen below.

To see how perfectly the little boy delivers Rocky Balboa’s iconic words, it’s best to immediately watch this clip from the movie. You can watch it below starting at 1 minute and 37 seconds.
At the end of the “fight” with Stallone, the boy embraces the Hollywood star and calls him Rocko, nicknamed by Paulie (Bertie Young) Rocky. Proof that at 9 years old, he’s a true fan of the franchise that started in 1976.
Speech in French version:
“I’ll tell you what you already know: sunshine, rainbows, this is not the world. There are real storms, hard trials. Big and strong as you are, life will knock you to your knees and leave you as if forever. You, me, anyone, Nobody punches as hard as life. It’s not being a good puncher that counts. L “The main thing is to hit and still move forward. This is without any fatigue, that’s how you win.
If you are sure of what it is worth, you can try everything to get it, but also accept that there will be harm, instead of pointing the finger at your neighbor and saying, “I failed all because of him, him, or me. I don’t know who.” That’s cowardly stuff! And you’re not one! You’re better than that!“
