The visitors have only lost one match in La Liga
Girona beat Barcelona 4-2 this Sunday (10), in a match valid for the 16th round of La Liga, at the Lluís Companys Olympic Stadium, in Barcelona. Dovbyk, Miguel, Valery Fernández and Stuani scored Girona’s goals. Lewandoswski and Gundogan scored Barça’s goals.
Modest Girona, now leaders of the championship, did not notice the powerful Barcelona. The visitors dominated the home team and achieved one of the most important victories in the club’s history. Including the excellent performance of the Brazilian Savinho, who closed the match with an assist.

⚽ HOW DID THE MATCH GO?
Girona began to dominate the match and opened the scoring in the 11th minute of the first half, with Dovbyk. Lewandowski scored for Barcelona seven minutes later, in the 18th minute, but the visitors took the lead again in the first half, with a great goal from Miguel in the 39th minute. Miguel walked away with the Match Star award.
In the second half, in the 35th minute, Valery Fernández extended the score to 3-1, Gundogan scored in the 92nd minute, but Stuani closed the area at 4-2 for the sensational championship.

Girona’s next match will be against Alavés, Monday (18th), at 5pm (Brasilia time). Barça will play in the Champions League, against Antwerp, on Wednesday (13th), at 5pm (Brasilia time).
