This Netflix documentary is a hit, and you probably know the voice of its narrator!

On December 7, Netflix released six episodes of the event’s documentary series, titled 39-45: Humanity at War. This program traces the history of World War II, with each episode (approximately 45 minutes) covering each major event of the seven years of the conflict.

Much awaited by the subscribers of the platform, this documentary was a success as soon as it was posted online. The series is currently the fourth most watched series on Netflix in France and has been the subject of many comments and debates on social networks.

This prestigious series was awarded with a significant budget, which allowed him to rework the archival images presented in a completely new quality. In addition, the program tries to get the views of the different camps involved in the conflict.

Fans of the original version may recognize the actor who narrated the show as he is none other than John Boyega – Finn’s translator in the new Star Wars trilogy. The British-Nigerian actor already appeared on Netflix earlier this year in They Cloned Tyrone.

In the French version, the narrator of the film is the voice actor Duke Coma. John Boyega’s official voice actor, the Franco-Malian actor also credits Olivier Marshall’s Netflix series Pax Massilia (currently number one in France’s most watched series on the platform).
