2023 is coming to an end soon and it’s time to take stock of these twelve months full of new series and new seasons with the start of the festive season. Before the Emmys, it’s the Golden Globes that celebrate TV series (and movies) by awarding prestigious prizes.
After the triumphs of Abbott Elementary and The White Lotus last year, which series will win the awards at the 81st Golden Globes? Competition is raging again this year for high-quality fiction, drama, comedy or limited edition.
And it is the series Succession (its fourth and final season to be exact) that stands out with 9 nominations from the nation. The end of the Roy family’s adventures, both strong and dysfunctional, convinced voters to approve the HBO series for its final episodes.
Followed by The Bear and Only Murders in the Building, each with 5 nominations. Other notable TV series of 2023 received several nominations, such as The Last of Us or The Crown.
See you on January 7th for the results!
