On Tuesday, December 12, it all starts here…

Kelly is protective of her father

Mark informs Jasmine and Thibaut about Jimmy, who was arrested by the police the day before. A hearing with the army is scheduled for the next day. Mark worries about the consequences: the fact that Jim didn’t give up is hurting him. As for his extenuating circumstances, Jimmy should at least agree to entrust them to a lawyer. Thibault wonders who could have revealed Jimmy’s hiding place.

At the Institute, Kelly asks Jasmine about Jimmy. But he blames his friend for being the one who denounced him. When Kelly denies it, Jasmine assumes it’s her father, given that Jim pressured her into confessing. So Kelly points out that it was Jim who set himself on fire while leaving the house. Two girls are arguing. Kelly ends the argument by saying that Jasmine probably has feelings for Jimmy no matter what she says, considering how protective she is of him.

However, Kelly spoke to her father a little later to find out for sure. He finds it suspicious that she didn’t tell him anything, either about being in the workshop the night of the explosion or about Jimmy’s pressure attack. Thomas assures his daughter that he has nothing to do with the story. Kelly finally believes him.

In turn, Thibault finds his sophomore classmates. Teyssier informs them that their test, overseen by Chef Listrac, will take place on Friday and will consist of reproducing a dish from a two-star restaurant. If some students fear that there will be new accidents, the director of the institute confirms that all equipment has been checked to prevent them.

Thibault then goes to the studio to eat. Jasmine joins him. Thibaut admits that it was very stressful for his brother. Jasmine confesses to him that she set herself on fire while leaving the house to pressure Thomas Lacroix. Thibault immediately deduces that the professor has reported Jim to the police and prepares to confront him in turn. Jasmine stops him and offers to tell Tessier everything.

So Thomas was summoned to the principal’s office in Leroy’s presence. Thomas continues to maintain his innocence in the face of the charges brought against him. Even if Tacy doesn’t know the professor’s motive, she still decides to inform the gendarmerie.

A little later, Laetitia overhears a phone conversation between Kelly and her father. He informs his daughter about being summoned to the gendarmerie. Kelly is angry at Jasmine and Jim, who suddenly announced that her father was to blame for the explosion when he had nothing to do with it. Laetitia believes that things will eventually return to normal given that Thomas can prove his innocence to the police. But Kelly is worried about the rumors that will spread about him at the institute.

So Kelly decides to go to Thibault to convince her that her father had nothing to do with the explosion. Instead, she blames Jim for upsetting Jasmine, implying that something happened between them while Thibault was in a coma…

Carla manipulates her world

In The Swamp Dweller, Gatani, Salome, and Anais continue to indulge Carla’s whims. He doesn’t hesitate to take all the hot water, or even steal chargers to use it. Anais tried to re-explain the rules of cohabitation to him, to no avail. Gaitan believes it’s time to talk to Rose about it, even if the latter risks a lack of objectivity towards Carla. Salome agrees to take care of him.

But at the institute, Carla is ahead of her roommates and pulls Rose aside to tell her she doesn’t feel welcome in the room. Worse, she doesn’t feel respected as a pregnant woman. He claims that Anais and Salome have teamed up against him. Faced with this situation, Carla goes so far as to declare that she is ready to give up her place to someone else. But Rose is determined to make her daughter’s countrymen understand that they will have to adapt, not the other way around.

At the end of the classes, Anais and Salome try to discuss the awkward roommate situation with Rose. But the Master Chief doesn’t give them any chance to explain, assuming Carla is the one telling the truth. That’s why he threatens to fire his fellow countrymen who cause him problems. Anais and Salome can’t believe it.

After learning of the conflict between the two young women and her sister, Clotilda discusses the situation with her to expose Carla’s insufferable and manipulative nature. Rose realizes that her daughter pushed her by playing on her heartstrings. Indeed, Rose still hopes that they can form a true mother-daughter bond. Clotilda advises her to stay professional and defend herself as long as Carla has this attitude. Rose admits that Clotilda is right and plans to apologize to Anais and Salome.

Hortense and Stanislas become accomplices

At the park, Hortense confides in Mehdi that she wants to bring some Christmas magic and cheer back to the Institute. She goes to Tayce’s office, where Antoine and Stanislas are also stationed, to present her idea to management. He wants to install a wishing tree in the school. Very enthusiastically, Stanislas offers to install it in Double A. He also offers to take responsibility with his colleague. Teissier accepts.

So Stanislaus and Hortense go together to the town’s Christmas market to choose a tree. They then install it on the double A, decorate and inaugurate it by hanging balloons containing their wishes. This joint activity allows them to develop their complicity and find more things in common.
