Midfielder Alan Patrick is very close to officially renewing his contract with Internacional. The athlete is in the sights of Corinthians, who put him on their radar at the request of coach Mano Menezes.

According to journalist Lucas Collar, Colorado would have organized everything to extend the contract of the 32-year-old midfielder, who will receive a salary increase and will have a monthly salary close to R$ million. The new contract would be valid until 2027.

Mano passed the name of Alan Patrick to the Timão board so that he could be the ‘substitute’ for Renato Augusto, who should soon be confirmed as Fluminense’s reinforcement. But the fine of five million euros (around 26 million reals) and the imminent renewal with Inter should make the salary unfeasible. The coach and the athlete worked together at the Rio Grande do Sul club.

This season, the midfielder has played 62 games for Internacional with 16 goals scored and six assists distributed. The number 10 has been the leader in the participation of balls in the net this year and, despite his age, he has the trust of the Colorado management to stay a few more years at Beira-Rio.
