While Brazilians prefer college country music, foreigners are interested in funk and its variations, but only after Alok and Anitta

Spotify published this Wednesday the 13th the list of most listened to Brazilian artists abroad. First place went to DJ Alokwho this year stood out for his performances in Copacabana and at The Town festival.

GW also leads the list of most played songs with Montagem – PR Funk, which features the fifth most played artist, Mc Menor do Alvorada.

Menor do Alvorada is from São Paulo and began to stand out at the Dz7 Ball, in Heliópolis, one of the largest in the city. The artist’s success has attracted the attention of the record label Universal Music, which will release Menor’s next creation, the song Platinum Troop.

Never Dull), featuring Alok; and Parado no Bailão, by MC Gury and MC L da Vinte, released in 2018 and which has now gone viral again, mainly through clips made with images of the player Neymar.
