The film crew was one of the first to return to the studio shortly after the end of the strike was announced. Tim Burton, Michael Keaton, Winona Ryder, Jenna Ortega, Monica Bellucci AND Willem Dafoe returned to the town of Melrose, Massachusetts to film the final scenes of the sequel to the 1988 film.
Residents of the region posted several photos on social media, which were posted on the WBZ website. According to them, filming finished in the third week of November, which means Beetlejuice 2 is already finished.
We still don’t know exactly what the feature film will be about, but the first photos taken of Jenna Ortega on set showed the actress wearing a wedding dress. Therefore, the film must involve some sort of wedding.
Therefore, Ghostbusters 2 will be released in theaters on September 11, 2024.
