With the new contractual relationship, the 31-year-old striker will complete 11 seasons defending the Paraná club
Atletico-PR announced, this Thursday (14), the renewal of the contract with Pablo for the next two years. The 31-year-old striker, therefore, will remain in Curitiba until December 2025. He will thus complete 11 seasons for the Paraná club.
“Happiness and gratitude for this moment. Atletico-PR is the club I love, the place where I grew up. All the club’s objectives have always been present in my mind and heart. I saw president Petraglia do the ‘Atletico-PR will grow enormously, making the club one of the biggest on the continent. So I also want to continue to always do my best, so that the club can continue to progress,’ said the athlete.
In the 2023 season, the center forward entered the field 51 times and scored 16 goals, as well as four assists. He thus contributed to Furacão winning another State Championship (he had already been champion of Paraná in 2016). He also won the Copa Sudamericana (2018) for the club, as well as participating in two editions of the Copa Libertadores, finishing second in the continental tournament, in 2022.

I love the club and I am very happy to be here this year in which Atletico will celebrate its 100th anniversary year of life. We will do everything to have a beautiful year and a lot of joy for our fans”, continued the player.

Pablo must have competition in attack
Pablo was injured at the beginning of November after having adjusted his longest run among the starters also due to the injury, in this case, of Vitor Roque. In 2024 he will be one of the alternatives to the departure of the jewel, sold to Barcelona. But, despite the transfer, Atletico-PR intends to expand its options in the attacking sector with the purchase of Mastriani, from América-MG, one of the targets of the transfer market.
