Public employee sees puppy thrown from car into traffic and adopts him:

“I was driving home, stopped in traffic and saw the car in front throw something through the passenger window, out of the car. At the time I thought it was a stuffed animal,” public servant Marina Ashcar says in a video (watch above).

It was only when he hit the railing, fell and started walking towards the street, that Marina realized it was a puppy. So she saved him and ran to a veterinary clinic.

This happened in December 2015: “I was sure he was injured, but after doing all the tests we saw that he was physically fine, but he was very scary.”

Marina took the puppy home and, once there, the family’s other dog helped calm him down. The nice surprise was when, the next day, she felt well and started playing. “He has already become part of the family,” he says.

Today, Blue, as the mutt was named, weighs 42 kilos. “But he thinks he’s stupid,” the official jokes. “You can come home any time and he’ll have the biggest party in the world. He will make you laugh, he will bring toys, he will do anything to make you happy.

One of Blue’s favorite activities is going to the park every day to play with friends and lie on his back looking for affection.

“People say he was very lucky to have been saved by us, but I say no. We were very lucky to have found it. Because it is joy, it is pure love. We can no longer imagine our family without him,” she concludes.
