The actors of Pax Massilia were fully involved in the filming of this detective series, which can be seen on Netflix and was directed by Olivier Marshall (who answered questions from AlloCiné about the project). For example, the casting revealed that they actually went to the northern districts of Marseille to shoot certain scenes.

The actors of the feature film, led by Tewfik Jalabi (who was injured on the first day), also explained that they spent several days shadowing real Marseille policemen to follow them through express training to better understand their profession. And prepare for the role.
But that’s not all! As Nicolas Duvachel, who plays gangster Frank Murillo, told us, working on Pax Massilia was not easy! The actor, who is familiar with the world of Olivier Marshall, especially remembered the particularly grueling shooting of one of the last scenes of the series…
“It’s a bit exhausting!“
He explained to us: “For the last scene, where Jean and Tewfik’s characters are following me, we spent three days running on the banks and a little bit of shopping. It was very late, we were between 8pm and 4pm… so admittedly after eight hours of racing, three days in a row, it’s a bit tiring! (laughs)”
“In the end, the result is great, so we’re happy, but at the moment you’re a little angry.Nicolas Duvachel remembered with humor. It was exciting in spite of everything, it really was! You just need to prepare because it’s very physical, as usual in Olivier’s series and films.“
In Pax Massilia, Nicolas Duvachel responds to Tewfik Jalab (Lyès), Jeanne Gurso (Alice), Nicolas Duvachel (Murillo), Lani Sogoiu (Audrey), Olivier Barthelemy (Arnaud), Idir Azougli (Tatu), Florence Thomasin (curator Fabian) and even Samir Boitar (Ali).
