French actor Bernard Destouches, best known for Plus belle la vie, died on Friday, December 15 at the age of 63. Southern sequence on Instagram. Bernard Destouches began his career on the small screen in 1994 when he starred in Gerard Pires’s Taxi. First a member of the Marseille police, a colleague of Emilien Coutant-Kerbalek (Frédéric Diefenthal) and working under the orders of Commissioner Gibert (Bernard Farce) in the first and third opus, we were able to see him again in Taxi 4, but this time as the chief of the fire station.
In the 2000s, we could see him in the movie Our Friends Cops (2004), where he reunited with Frederic Diefenthal, then Gomez vs. Tavares with Stormy Bugs and Titoff (2007), but also in the TV series Mafiosa, from 2008 to 2010.
After some time in television, he returned to the big screen, still in third roles, notably in La Promesse de l’aube, adapted from Roman Garry with Pierre Nini and Charlotte Gainsbourg, but also in Le Temps des Secrets by Christophe Baratier. and the Netflix film Flavors and Colors with Sarah Stern.
In 2020, he joined Plus belle la vie for five episodes and recently starred in the comedy Sexygénaires, released this year with Thierry Lhermitte and Patrick Timsit.
