Movie Quiz: Will you be on your way to the perfect score?

A simple number is enough to represent the importance of Meryl Streep in the cinema of the last decades: 17. This is actually the number of nominations this great actress has received at the Oscars in the “Best Actress” category. Of course, an absolute record, to which we must add four more nominations in the “Best Supporting Actress” category.

Among these numerous nominations, which finally brought him three statues, is Clint Eastwood’s feature film Madison Avenue, one of the 10 best films of 1995 according to the audience and which will be broadcast tomorrow night on ARTE.

The story of two of Francesca’s children, Michael and Carolyn Johnson, who move to Iowa to settle the estate after their mother’s death. They were then shocked to learn that their mother had expressed her wish to be cremated and that her ashes would be thrown from Roseman Bridge rather than being laid to rest with her husband Richard.

While cleaning the house, the children come across letters, diaries and photographs, and then learn about the brief but passionate affair their mother had with a visiting photographer.

The film is followed tomorrow by the documentary Meryl Streep – Mysteries and Metamorphoses, and tonight is dedicated to the actress (who is nominated for a Golden Globe this year for her role in the series Murders Only in a building, which breaks a new record) to make you want to revisit some of her greatest roles with this quiz in ten films.
