For the Galaxy S25 Ultra, the leaker reveals that Samsung will bring new lenses for the main camera. Additionally, one of its telephoto lenses should be updated to offer variable aperture capabilities, which we’ve already seen over rivals like the Xiaomi 13 Ultra, giving the user more flexibility in controlling light input and depth of field. Finally, the device may also have an improved ultrawide camera, ranging from 12 MP to 50 MP.
As for the alleged Galaxy S26 Ultra, the premium mobile phone from the South Korean brand should acquire another sensor for the main camera, maintaining 200 MP, but equipped with a larger size of 1/1.1 inches with 0.7 μm pixels — in comparison, the main sensor used in the Galaxy S23 Ultra It is 1/1.3 inch (the higher the number, the smaller the component size), and the pixels are smaller than 0.6 μm.

Importantly, as these are devices that are only expected to be announced in 2025 and 2026, respectively, there is a possibility that this information won’t materialize, and it’s a good idea to approach it with some skepticism.
In turn, the Galaxy S24 Ultra should be announced on January 17, at an event in the United States. Among the new features, in addition to the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and Exynos 2400 processors, and a strong focus on generative artificial intelligence resources, the device should feature a design with a flat screen and titanium alloy finish.
