Wednesday 20 December Tomorrow belongs to us…

The police finally have evidence against Gerald

At the police station, Manon and Nordin brief Martin and the Auror on the day before their mission. They did explore the area between Gerald’s camp and Fleming’s house and found a noticeable passage through the swamps. If they did it in 74 minutes, they think Gerald did it in less time because he’s an expert. However, Martin and Aurora are in trouble for them because they took a risk without telling anyone. All this in order to gather sufficient evidence.

Meanwhile, Benjamin and Chloe meet at the Spoon counter. Benjamin confides his concerns about Audrey to John. He doesn’t understand why the police haven’t acquitted him when Gerald is also a suspect. Intrigued, Chloe admits that she knows him and didn’t imagine him capable of murder. Given that he had two bouts of illness due to diabetes, she saw him as a fragile person.

Benjamin goes to the police station to inform Sarah and Martin of Gerald’s specifics: according to his medical report, the latter appears to have poorly controlled diabetes. Stress as a precipitating factor, he was definitely feeling sick after killing Fleming and so he had to inject himself with insulin in order to recover. So Martin allows Sarah to put her nose back in the hatches. She takes care of him with Damien. This is how they come across an unused trial lane.

In turn, Bastien is visited by Violet, then by Diego. The young man, who has finally recovered, wants to leave the hospital with his father the very next day. But Bastien still worries that John won’t make it right.

At the police station, Damien managed to find a partial print on the strip. But Gerald isn’t listed anywhere and no matches have been found. Sarah then remembers the flashlight Gerald gave Jack and Ryan to help them. Damien contacts Jack to collect and analyze. A match appears and authorizes Gerald’s crime. Martin goes to look for her. At the same time, Gerald is hiking with Etienne and Dorian. They have just reached an off-grid area and are heading deeper into the forest…

Nathan let him go

Seeing that his father was still not up at 8 am, Nathan woke him up. When Bruno replies that Alexander called him in at 11 in the morning, Nathan doesn’t believe him for a second. He reminds his father of his rules, namely the 7 a.m. alarm clock. While Bruno tries to stop him from sharing breakfast, Nathan goes to work.

Bruno confides in Alexander that he spent a lot of money on the reunion aperitif the day before. So he asks his employer to give him an advance, which the latter accepts.

At the end of the day, Nathan asks Chloe out for a drink, but she declines. She realizes that he is afraid to return home and find his father. He perfectly understands that he wants to pay for his mistakes. This situation also makes him think about the strained relationship between his mother and her husband. But he stresses that the Christmas period is favorable for a truce. So Chloe advises Nathan to take things a little more lightly instead of letting his anger overwhelm him.

Returning home, Nathan finds that his father has decorated the entire apartment in a Christmas theme. He immediately wonders how he managed to buy so many small things. Bruno explains that he accepted Alexander’s advance. Nathan believes that he could use this money to buy more useful things. Bruno then asks his son to take a step towards him because he’s really trying to make it right. Nathan relaxes a little.

Adele goes to Italy

After a final night of love, Adele and Bart wake up side by side, happy and peaceful. She is scheduled to leave for Italy that day, Adele is busy packing boxes.

In turn, Bart goes to the spoon. He meets Roxanne and tells her about his breakup with Adele and the latter’s departure to Italy. Although his friend is upset by the news, Bart says he feels at ease.

Back home, Bart finds Adele closing her suitcase. He then accompanied her to the sidewalk where a taxi was waiting. Ex-lovers said goodbye, hugged each other and wished the best.

After which Bart goes to Sarah and Roxanne to ask them to stay at their place while he gets used to his empty apartment. His friends apparently agree to host him.
