Un Si Grand Soleil Preview: Episode Summary for Wednesday, December 20, 2023 [SPOILERS]

Ian is placed in custody

After spending the night in the car, Ian wakes up in agony. Returning home, Johanna hugs him and asks where he was. After he calms her down, the lawyer tells her that Pierre Luhan has been murdered.

For his part, Hugo performed Pierre’s autopsy. According to the results, he was killed with a 9 mm caliber gun, the same caliber as Ian. In addition, the policeman’s mobile phone found Emma’s body near the deceased’s house.

At the same time, Ian goes to the police station accompanied by Johanna and puts himself at the disposal of justice. When questioned, Ian admits that he went to Pierre Luhan’s house because he wanted to prove that he killed his wife on purpose. So he searched his own house, but to no avail. Ian left and waited in the car for Pierre to return home. When he arrived, Ian grabbed his service weapon, but changed his mind when he realized he could lose everything. Ultimately, he spent the evening drinking before waking up on the beach. Although appearances are against him, Ian swears that he did not kill Pierre. Despite everything, he is in police custody.

Not far from there, Marc meets Florent for an interview regarding Pierre’s death. The latter proves that Pierre was a good person and wanted to do good around him. The lawyer also implies that the police did not take the threats he received seriously enough.

At the same time, Johanna meets Hugo at the Institute of Forensic Expertise. If she is worried, Johanna especially feels guilty for not being able to help the man she loves. For Hugo, he was perfect. He also specifies that without him, Ian would have killed Pierre. Johanna hugs her in tears and Hugo comforts her.

At the end of the day, Commissioner Becker informs Prosecutor Bernier that Henri Lebrun has an alibi and that they have nothing concrete against him. As Commissioner Becker firmly believes in Ian’s innocence, Bernier reminds him that the policeman knows what to say during the interview. Although Becker believes that Ian is a good, honest man with values, Bernier does not believe this. For him, Ian planned everything in advance and implemented a strategy to justify himself.

Aki and Estelle kiss

After careful consideration, Margo tells Akim that she has no desire to live in a long-distance relationship. Indeed, a young woman has already experienced difficult relationships in the past and does not want to start a new one, because she knows from the beginning that it will be difficult. So Margot said goodbye to him.

For his part, Gilham goes to Estelle for a massage. And it seems that the lawyer and the masseuse have known each other for a long time, as Gilham talks to him about Johanna’s problems before Estelle talks about the attack she suffered the previous day. Walking through the streets of the city, Estelle and Akim get to know each other better and seem especially accomplices. So much so that they decided to prolong this face-to-face before the kiss.
