Ian is sent to prison
Becker in particular was fired this morning. It must be said that the commissioner did not really appreciate that Florent gave an interview to Midi Libre in which he accused the police of being responsible for the death of Pierre Luhan.
Meanwhile, Johanna appears in Florentine’s office and Melanie throws a copy of LeBrun’s notebook in his face. Enraged, she criticizes him for implying that Ian was guilty of Pierre Luhan’s murder. Florent tries to defend himself, but Johanna is furious with him for pushing the man she loves to the press without any evidence. As the tone between them rises, Johanna advises her colleague to read Melanie’s notebook to find out who her “poor little penitent customer” really was.
At the police station, Alex has just received a ballistics report and the bullet that killed Pierre was not from Ian’s service weapon. However, if the policeman was indeed seen at the bar on the night of the murder, no one knows where he was at 8:30 p.m. when neighbors heard the explosion. Specifically, the police have nothing to accuse him of and to prosecute him.
In the process, Alex informs Ian that the prosecutor has decided not to continue his detention. Therefore, he will appear before the judge today. Although he repeats that he did not kill Pierre Luhan, Ian leaves the police station in handcuffs.
Out in the wild, a journalist tries to get Emma to testify about Pierre’s death. Although the young woman refuses to tell him anything, the journalist insists and prompts Victor to throw her out.
Not far from there, Judge Laplace delivers bad news to Jan and Johanna. Faced with the evidence at his disposal, he actually decided to press charges for the policeman’s murder. He will also contact a probation judge to request a prison sentence. A hard blow for the couple.
Florent confides in Claire. In fact, the lawyer read Melanie LeBrun’s diary. And suffice it to say, the young woman’s words made her blood run cold. Florent, who has been his lawyer for a long time, finds it hard to believe that Pierre could do this to his partner. He regrets protecting the manipulative pervert, but above all, he was duped like a novice.
At nightfall, when Ian is about to be taken to prison, Johanna vows not to give up and vows to do whatever it takes to get him out. After the kiss, he let go.
Flor and Elizabeth Argoul
Elise, Bilal and Ludo agreed to welcome Flor and Tiago in their room for three months. So this is their last breakfast with Elizabeth and Allen. If the Doctor is a little sad to see them go, Flor assures them that they will meet again soon. Elizabeth also specifies that they will always be welcome. Obviously, this departure pleases the businessman, who did not escape Allen.
Later, Flore and Thiago finish packing their suitcases. An opportunity for them to discuss Elizabeth’s attitude. If Flor finds her mother-in-law funny, Tiago thinks she was trying to be nice. However, Flor is well aware that this is hypocrisy and says that she is in a hurry not to see him again. According to him, money makes you stupid. A discussion that Elizabeth didn’t miss, and which seemed to hurt her.
Before leaving, Allen gives his daughter an envelope containing her rent. After paying her as quickly as possible, Florey thanks Elizabeth for her welcome. Even if he doesn’t go so far as to say it was nice, Elizabeth informs him that family is sacred. He also states that he has always managed to maintain a sense of hospitality, even though his money has made him completely stupid. He then points out to her that although he doesn’t like money, he knows exactly which pocket to look in when he needs it. Furious, Florey returns the money to Allen, stating that he is used to protecting himself, and then leaves.
At the end of the day, Elisa and Ludo welcome Flor and Tiago to their neighborhood. And to celebrate they decide to have dinner together.
Meanwhile, Allen is furious with Elizabeth for doing this to Fleur. No matter how hard he tries to defend himself, the doctor, who is upset, accuses him of preventing him from making up for lost time with his daughter and grandson. Elisabeth finds it arrogant to blame him and then adds that she is not the only one responsible for this situation. While they argue, Allen ends the conversation by going outside for some fresh air.
In the evening, Flory takes advantage of her alone time with Elise to warn her that she won’t be able to pay the rent today. He then tells her about his difficult relationship with Elizabeth. As he promises to find a solution quickly, Elise assures him that he can give her the money later.
