Three years after the landmark genre film Saint Maud, director Rose Glass presents a new feature film: Love Lies Bleeding. Produced by Studio A24, the film is already shaping up to be one of the most intriguing entries of 2024, with these first images heralding suspense, sex and revenge.

The story follows Lou (Kristen Stewart), a gym manager, where she meets and falls in love with Jack (Cathy O’Brien), an ambitious bodybuilder who crosses town to pursue his dream in Las Vegas. But their love will lead to a violent sequence of events.
The film marks Kristen Stewart’s return to the screen after David Cronenberg’s upcoming Crimes. This will allow us to discover Cathy O’Brian, who some may have already noticed in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania or in the TV series The Mandalorian.
A French release date has yet to be announced. Love Lies Bleeding will premiere at the Sundance Film Festival in January 2024.
