Hired this week, Bruno Rodrigues fills a needy position at Palmeiras; Bobadilla increases the fight for a place in Sao Paulo
At the start of the penultimate week of 2023, Palmeiras and São Paulo announced major reinforcements for next season. While Alviverde signed Bruno Rodrigues from Cruzeiro, Tricolor managed to bring in the Paraguayan Damián Bobadilla, from Cerro Porteño. Punctual names that come to heat up the battles for positions in their respective squads. But they also come promising to be useful in their new teams.
At Palmeiras, after the Brasileirão, Bruno Rodrigues arrives, highlighted by Cruzeiro. Even though his team didn’t do well, the striker had good numbers and ended the season as top scorer. He is not a center forward, but he will be important in an offensive sector that will no longer have Dudu and Rony, injured, at the start of the season. Artur is expected to go to Russia, while Endrick will leave for Real Madrid in the middle of the year.
In Sao Paulo, the purchase of Bobadilla also fills a need in the Dorival Júnior squad.
