After chronicling the feud between two Hollywood legends, Joan Crawford and Bette Davis, creator Ryan Murphy returns with Feud Season 2, titled Capote vs. swans
This sequel takes us to the heart of New York high society in the 70s, where author Truman Capote publishes a work that will ignite a fire among his group of friends, a group of bourgeois women called the Swans. The publication of his writings will have serious consequences for their lives.
Jackpot for Ryan Murphy! For this new season, which promises to be explosive, the producers have surrounded themselves with an exceptional cast: Naomi Watts, Diane Lane, Calista Flockhart, Chloë Sevigny, Molly Ringwald and Demi Moore. All of them embody the writer’s target swans.
The American channel FX published the first teaser. “treason“,”sex“,”money“…the words set the tone and the characters reveal themselves in a flashback to old Hollywood of the 1940s.
Another major asset of this series is its director: Gus Van Sant. The filmmaker, who won the Palme d’Or in 2003 for The Elephant, is back behind the camera with his latest feature film Don’t Worry, He Won’t Walk Far in 2018.
Feud: Capote vs. The Swans will be released in the United States from January 31. In France, they are waiting for the series on CANAL+. The date of transmission is not yet known.
