Despite another increase in subscription prices, the Apple TV+ platform is doing well. 2023 was a great year for streaming services Deadline. Indeed, the Apple TV+ audience grew by 42% in more than 100 countries and the total hours watched multiplied by 2 compared to 2022.
Among the platform’s biggest successes are Season 3 of The Morning Show, which saw an audience increase of 20% compared to Season 2, but also Slow Horses Season 3, which saw an audience increase of 65% compared to Season 2 .
Other content was very popular this year, such as Chemistry Lessons with Brie Larson, the documentary Messi Meets America, Ted Lasso with Jason Sudeikis, Abduction with Idris Elba and Silo with Rebecca Ferguson.

But the content that broke all the records in 2023 is none other than an action comedy that was released just a few days ago! Uploaded to Apple TV+ on December 15th, this fun and entertaining film just became the platform’s most-watched feature film of all time.
It’s The Family Plan, directed by Simon Selan Jones (Ballers, The Diplomate). This crazy family road movie directed by Mark Wahlberg, Michelle Monaghan, Maggie Q and Saeed Taghmaoui is the perfect year-end surprise that entertained Apple TV+ subscribers.
The platform has yet to reveal the exact viewing numbers for The Family Plan, but this action comedy seems to have swept away everything in its path. AlloCiné viewers were also won over by the film, which was rated 3.1 out of 5, if certain reviews are to be believed, such as Laia, who rated it 4 out of 5:
“Enjoyable American family action comedy. The script may not be very original, but everything is rhythmic and fun to follow. Humor, good action scenes and a good cast with Mark Wahlberg carrying the show. Entertaining.”
