Will the muses return?
‘One more star has been born, from today you see it’. Have you kept singing? Okay, so you’re a true fan of ‘Hercules’, one of the Disney animated classics of the 90s, with one of the most memorable soundtracks. And it is not for less: that gospel touch that the muses give it is one of the successes of Disney’s reinterpretation of classical Greek mythology, and specifically, of the legend of Hercules.
The 1997 film was one of the few from the Mouse Company’s Renaissance era that hadn’t officially announced a live-action remake from Disney. But things have changed, and the project is now official from Disney, so we will once again see the muses singing the heroics of our favorite classic hero.
‘Hercules’ Release Date
The release date for ‘Hercules’ has not yet been revealed, as the project has just been officially announced. But with the accumulation of premieres that Disney has, between Marvel and its own remakes in real action, the film It would not arrive before 2024.
‘Hercules’ Synopsis
We all know the story of Hercules and his incredible strength. Disney turned the story around and introduced us to Megara, her love interest, and the hero’s fight against Hades, god of the Underworld. Will this remake keep the same story as the animated film? We also know who will produce the film, and it will be none other than the Russian brothers. Yes, yes, the same ones, the artificers of ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ and ‘Avengers: Endgame’.
