Movie quiz: these 9 movies are not easy to identify!

For a few months now, we’ve been offering quiz mechanics based on movie posters, from which we’re happy to remove the title portion. For example, we could ask you to come up with animal names like The Wolf of Wall Street and The Silence of the Lambs, or movie names like Sailor and Lula or Thelma and Louise.

And a few weeks ago, a quiz looked at movie titles over the years. The first question was, for example, to know at what age Steve Carell could still be a virgin according to the title of Judd Apatow’s 2005 film. Was he 30, 40 or even 50 years old? 74% of you knew how to spell the correct title, 40 Year Old Still a Virgin.

Another question goes back to the sad fate of Solomon Northup in the 19th century, a black man born free in New York before being kidnapped, sold, and sent into slavery in Louisiana. The tragic story he told in his autobiography, published in 1853, was adapted for film 160 years later by Steve McQueen, starring Chiwetel Ejiofor.

So the question was how many years, as the title specifies, this carpenter knew the horrors of these slaves. 77% of you knew the exact title: 12 Years a Slave.

Finally, another question – which was about the most recent film, George Miller’s latest feature film (before his upcoming Furiosa in 2024) – presented more difficulty with only 50% correct answers, finding the exact title of the film starring Tilda Swinton and Idris Elba, we have been waiting for you for three thousand years.

Today we use the same concept, except for one detail, the years give way to days, and there are nine new movie titles that you now have to complete. Depends on you !
