Surprisingly, Samsung starts selling the Galaxy A05 in Brazil in a version with 128 GB of storage space, 50 MP rear camera and a price below R$800
Taking the public by surprise, without an official announcement, the SAMSUNG started selling this Thursday (28th) on Galaxy A05 in Brazil. The model arrives in the country around three months after the initial presentation in Malaysiawith competitive price and very simple specifications.

The galaxy A05 It’s Samsung’s most basic smartphone for 2024, with basic specs, including two rear cameras. The new feature comes with a screen with reasonably thin bezels around it, except for the bottom area, and features a teardrop-shaped notch at the top to accommodate the selfie lens.
At the rear, the launch features camera lenses hanging directly from the back cover, already seen in other devices in the line, which focus on a flat side structure. The bad news is that, unlike other devices from the giant, there is no fingerprint reader here.
As for the technical equipment, the Galaxy A05 has a 6.7-inch IPS LCD panel with HD+ resolution (1600 x 720 pixels), but without support for high refresh rates, being limited to 60 Hz: the functionality it doesn’t offer the maximum fluidity and sensation of speed offered by a 90 Hz or 120 Hz panel.
Even if the official website does not reveal the chipset, its processor is already known: it is the MediaTek Helio G85, slightly old 4G input chipused in rivals like Redmi 13C and the MotoG41. The platform is accompanied by 4 GB of memory RAMwith the national version offered with 128GB of internal memory, with the possibility of expansion via MicroSD cards.
As for the cameras, the phone offers a 50 MP main rear lens with f/1.8 aperture, accompanied by a 2 MP secondary lens for calculating depth of field, as well as an 8 MP front sensor for selfies.
Finally, the Galaxy A05 is equipped with a 5,000 mAh battery, with 25W fast charging, a welcome change if we consider that the Galaxy A04 only supported 15W of power. Unfortunately, the compatible 25W adapter is sold separately, and the model is likely to come bundled with a 15W accessory.

OR Samsung Galaxy A05 arrives in Brazil in three color options: black, silver and green. Its official price is R$799, which can be paid in up to 12 interest-free installments on the manufacturer’s official website.
