A cold front advances across southern Brazil. Heat and high humidity form heavy clouds.
The heat and the movement of a new cold front over southern Brazil form heavy clouds over the three states of the Region.
Warm, humid air predominates over northern Brazil, and in the area between Piauí, Maranhão, Goiás and northern Mato Grosso, and stimulates the formation of heavy clouds, which cause heavy rain and lightning.
A dry air mass predominates over the northeast and gains strength over the southeast, reducing conditions for rain in these regions.
The Intertropical Convergence Zone increases precipitation on the coast of Amapá, Pará and Maranhão.
