Available on Netflix, Berlin is a series derived from La Casa de Papel, one of the platform’s biggest hits, with around one hundred million views per season. Creator Alex Pina is expanding the franchise with a spin-off centered on one of the iconic characters, Andres de Fonolosa, aka Berlin (Pedro Alonso).
We find the famous criminal years before the events of La Casa de Papel for the heist of the century… in Paris! Berlin needs an experienced gang, played by a brand new actor, to pull off a €44 million jewel heist in the French capital. And you’ve probably already seen them somewhere!
In addition to La Casa de Papel veterans – Pedro Alonso (Berlin), Itciar Ituno (Raquel) and Najwa Nimri (Alicia) – the Berlin series calls for new faces that you will discover or meet after other projects.
Damian (Tristan Ulloa)
Tristan Ulloa plays Damien, Berlin’s philanthropic professor and right-hand man. Born in Orléans, the Franco-Spanish actress notably starred in Julio Medem’s Lucia et le sexe, as well as Terminator: Dark Fate. He also played Claudius Lapsus in Asterix and Obelix: On Her Majesty’s Service. More recently, you’ve definitely seen him in the Netflix series The Little Girl in the Snow and Warrior Nun, in which he plays Father Vincent.
Kayla (Michelle Jenner)

Michelle Jenner plays Kayla, a nerd who majors in electronic engineering. The Spanish actress, whose mother is French, is best known for the police comedy Los Hombres de Paco, another series by Alex Pina. She also played Pedro Almodovar in Juliet. He was recently seen on Netflix in the series La Cuisinière de Castamar and in the film Bird Box Barcelona.
The King (Julio Peña)

Julio Peña plays the king, a staunch ally of Berlin who sees him as a brother or father figure, depending. The 23-year-old actor is best known for starring in the series Bia, available on Disney+, and the romance trilogy Through My Window, in which he plays the protagonist Ares, on Netflix.
Cameron (Begonia Vargas)

Begonia Vargas plays Cameron, a hothead who always lives on the edge and has a troubled past. The 23-year-old young actress made a name for herself with two Spanish series produced by Netflix, Alta Mar, in which she played Veronica de García, and Bienvenidos à Eden, in which she played Belle. Unfortunately, Welcome to Eden was canceled after its second season.
Bruce (Joel Sanchez)

As for Joel Sanchez, who plays Bruce, the gang’s ruthless action man, this is his first role!
Camille (Samantha Siqueiros)

Mexican actress Samantha Siqueiros, who plays Camille, is best known in her home country, but you may have seen her in the Netflix series Uncovered.
