Many people simply see food as an opportunity to try new flavors, but Chil Seong (Jang Hyuk), an ex-convict, sees an opportunity to rebuild his life. After getting out of prison, he decides to open the Hungry Wok Chinese restaurant and hires other ex-convicts as employees, so he can share his second chance with more people.
In the midst of his new job, he and his “gang” get into trouble and perform in several action scenes. He also meets Sae Woo (Jung Ryeo-won), a bankrupt heiress, and Seo Poong (Lee Jun-ho), who also need help finding their way in life.
“Wok do amor” brings great immersion in mouth-watering culinary dishes, builds different narratives based not only on action scenes, but on comedy and even romance. It’s the type of show that reaches different target audiences and can satisfy most viewers.
The series was released in 2018 and has a total of 38 episodes, with an average duration of one hour. To date there is no trailer dubbed or with effective subtitles. The cast includes names like Lee Mi-sook, Cha Joo-young, Cha In-ha, Jo Jae-yoon and more.
