On loan from Tombense, Marcelinho remains at Santos until December 2024; The player, however, will still undergo medical examinations
Santos confirmed this Saturday (30th) the purchase of striker Marcelinho, who arrived on loan from Tombense. The 21-year-old player has agreed with Peixe until the end of 2024. However, he will sign the contract only after having undergone medical examinations, which should only take place in the first days of January.
But this did not prevent Alvinegro from confirming the agreement between the parties. Marcelinho arrives at Santos after 46 games and seven goals scored with the Tombense shirt in the season just ended. Unveiled by Atlético-GO, he attended the youth sector of Palmeiras, where he turned professional in 2020. He then played for Vasco, in the Under 20s, as well as Cruzeiro, Ferroviária and Água Santa.
In this way, Santos once again strengthens its offensive sector, which recently lost Venezuelan Soteldo against Grêmio. A short player, Marcelinho is only 1.64 m tall and plays on the edges of the pitch. Originally from Goiás, from the town of Anicuns, he returns to defend a great São Paulo football team after three seasons.
