Thunderbolt Belongs to Us Tomorrow: The iconic couple of the TF1 series will break up
A couple for almost two years, François (Emmanuel Moir) and Charlie (Clémence Lasalles) have quickly established themselves as the leading couple on the TF1 daily soap opera. If their love story has had storms in the past, the lovers have always managed to overcome the challenges.
But as they prepare to start a new life in Canada, François shows signs of stress. An attitude that did not escape her partner, who did not hesitate to believe that she was pregnant in order to find out if she really wants this new start.
A lie that will obviously cause conflict between the couple, but above all it will make François realize that his story with Charlie may be over. And unfortunately, the time has come for Francois and Charles to part ways…
It’s over between Charlie and Francois
In A new extract is available on the MyTF1 platform, Charlie joins Francois on the beach. Indeed, the French teacher thought about everything that had happened in the last few days. Although she agrees that it wasn’t right that she lied about the pregnancy test, Charlie explains that she should have known where she stood.
If she was angry with him at first, Francois still understands why she did it. “I was terrible. I hurt you and that’s what I wanted to avoid“, he explains before continuing, “I’ve been here for weeks, you know, making plans and not saying anything. I don’t have the courage to tell you what I feel, what I want or not“.
Charlie then admits that he overheard her and Adam discussing her stress over the trip to Canada. The young woman tried to talk to him about it, but Francois didn’t want to say anything to her. After he apologized to her, he says he didn’t say anything to defend her.
“I love you and I know it deep inside me. But when you told me that we would have a child, I don’t know… – starts to say until Charlie interrupts him. In fact, the young woman laughs at all this and claims that she only did it to talk to him.
However, François believes that it is much more than that. “Charlie, you deserve to make a man weep with joy when you tell him you’re pregnant with him. Nothing else. you are young You want to live your experience, change your life, discover many things. I have my life here. I like my job. I like to see Adam whenever I want“.
Charlie suggests that they take some time or even postpone their trip to Canada, but Francois categorically refuses.
“You act exactly like me. You forget to please me. I don’t want that– he says. A transfixed Charlie tries to figure out if she’s leaving him.
“I don’t want to be a burden to you. And I don’t want you to blame me one day for not wanting children. I don’t want to stay here and make you happy” – he concludes. It’s a heavy blow to Charlie, who gathers his things and leaves…
This is the end of Francois and Charlie’s love story… but is their separation really final? The answer will soon be in Tomorrow!
