A classic among teen films, Mean Girls is back in cinemas, after twenty years, in a new musical version, which starts showing in Brazil from this Wednesday, January 10th.
In the film, a girl raised in the African jungle by zoologist parents moves to the city and now needs to adapt to another type of savagery when she enters high school and is confronted by the Plastics, a team of popular girls at her new school.
The musical features Angourie Rice (Spider-Man: Homecoming) as Cady Heron, Renee Rapp (The Sexual Life of College Girls) as Regina George, Baby Wood (With Love, Victor) as Gretchen Wieners, Avantika (Diary of a Future President) as Karen Smith, Auli’i Cravalho (Moana: A Sea of Adventure) as Janis Ian, Christopher Briney (The Summer That Changed My Life) as Aaron Samuels and the newbie Jaquel Spivey as Damian Hubbard.
