After his recent portrayal of a glamorous cannibalistic surgeon in the film Mimi Cave NewNow available on Disney +, Sebastian Stan is turning to a different type of medical procedure for his next project, as reported Term – a different mana new psychological thriller financed and produced by A24.
Written and directed by Aaron Schimberg, Stan will play Edward, an underdog who undergoes drastic facial reconstructive surgery in an attempt to start over. He’s not quite right when he becomes obsessed with a man who plays him in a staging of his past life.
The cast will also include Renate Reinsve, the BAFTA-nominated star of Joachim Trier’s critically acclaimed 2022 drama. the worst person in the worldand Adam Pearson, who you may remember from Jonathan Glazer’s jaw-dropping sci-fi film starring Scarlett Johansson. Under the skin. Pearson previously worked with Schimberg on a previous film. chained for life, in which a beautiful 1950s actress struggled to come to terms with her co-star’s physical differences. Pearson suffers from neurofibromatosis, a condition that affects her appearance, and has long been involved in campaigns and awareness programs to prevent bullying about these issues.
Stan is also an executive producer, with production on the film starting next month.
