The legendary Hollywood actor Al Pacino does not plan to retire. The 83-year-old actor recently starred in Tarantino’s Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, Martin Scorsese’s The Irishman and Ridley Scott’s House of Gucci.
The actor has already filmed 4 projects and no less! First of all, she can be seen in Johnny Depp’s new film, Modi. This feature film will feature the famous Italian painter and sculptor Amedeo Modigliani, played by Riccardo Scamarchio.
Al Pacino portrays wealthy art collector Maurice Gannett. This is his second collaboration with Johnny Depp, 27 years after the gangster film Donnie Brasco. The actor will also star in the thriller Killing Castro directed by Eif Rivera.
The story based on real events takes us to 1960. Shortly after the victory of the Cuban revolution, Fidel Castro goes to New York to give his first speech at the United Nations. Castro meets Malcolm X, who invites him to the famous Hotel Teresa in Harlem.
As the world watches, an FBI agent originally assigned to investigate Malcolm X suddenly becomes the FBI’s most valuable asset. He is tasked with preventing the assassination of Castro by the CIA and the Italian Mafia by any means necessary.
We’ll also see Al Pacino opposite Stranger Things star Charlie Heaton in Billy Knight. The plot introduces us to film students, Alex and Emily. They discover a box containing unfinished scripts from Alex’s father, who recently died. They also find a handkerchief with Billy Knight’s name embroidered on it. Alex goes to Hollywood to find a mysterious character.
Finally, the New Yorker created a thriller with Gerard Butler and Oscar Isaac, Dante’s Hand. Directed by Julian Schnabel, the story follows Nick Toches, a writer who learns that a manuscript of Dante’s Divine Comedy stolen from the Vatican has resurfaced in New York.
Missing this opportunity, Nick decides to try to authenticate this manuscript and investigate its origin, journey and author. Jason Momoa, Gal Gadot, John Malkovich and Franco Nero are also there.
Additionally, Al Pacino will be reuniting with Taylor Hackford this year on the set of Sniff. The director and actor collaborated on the cult film Devil’s Partner in 1997, this time it will be a detective film. He introduces us to a pair of detectives, Joe Mulvray and William Keyes.
They investigate a luxurious residence after the mysterious deaths of two of its residents. Soon, the cops discover a dark world controlled by society boss Pini Harvey Stride and a literal femme fatale, “Spider”. Al Pacino will be accompanied by Morgan Freeman and Danny DeVito.
At this time, there is no release date for these projects. You’ll have to wait a little longer before you see Al Pacino in theaters again.
