Alocine: Almost a year has passed since you came here and everything starts in the role of Jasmine. What conclusions can you draw from this adventure?
Zoe Severin: What happiness! It’s a bit of a cliché, but it ’s true. I have been on the show for a year now and I have had so many good things to play, a wonderful arc written. I really liked the people I met. I have only had a good experience since I am here, it all starts. It is a real pleasure. Every day I think to myself before I start and I tell myself that I am happy to be there. really !
Jasmine has a relationship with Alex (Thomas and Costa) but is still jealous of Salome (Aurel Pons). What can we expect in the following episodes?
There is always uncertainty between Salome and Axel. With her difficult past, Jasmine doesn’t really know how much she can trust Axel. He wants to trust her 200%, but he can’t. He has been betrayed so much and has suffered so much in life that it is difficult for him. So there will be some things spinning around.
Can we say that the Jasmine-Alex couple is in danger?
I would not say that. But there are weaknesses in every couple that need to be talked about.
While we expected Salome and Jasmine to go to war, they eventually joined forces to help Axel …
I thought this was a wonderful idea from the authors. True, Salome and Jasmine were at war. So I think it’s nice that they found each other and put the grief aside. After that he again raises questions, doubts and weaknesses.
Jasmine is currently in the middle of an exam period and has just been released by Tessie (Benjamin Barroshe). Will you succeed in changing the trend with your peers?
He still tries. Tom (Tom Darmon) came up with the idea to release a video where Tacieus threatened to throw Zachary (Julien Aluget) into the void. I’ll see if it works, but I can’t say anything more (laughs).
What awaits Jasmine this summer?
Jasmine is going to do an internship. With whom ? Where? ᲠHow? Why? That’s the question (laughs).
Jasmine has bipolar disorder and is currently undergoing treatment that seems to have stabilized her. Is it possible for his illness to return?
I am not a doctor at all and therefore I am talking to you with the little knowledge I have on this subject. Usually, people with bipolar disorder have high and low drop once every six months. Because we’re in the series, that’s something we can’t appreciate. Maybe one day the authors will write a story where Jasmine is no longer taking medication, but in any case, she is quite stable.
Greg (Michael Mittelstadt) Eliot (Nicolas Anselmo) and Jasmine seem to have found some balance in raising Nael. How will it all develop here?
They are in the apartment, they are good. They live their little family life. To be honest, everything is going very well on this side.
Many powerful themes were discussed through Jasmine’s character. Bipolarity, motherhood at a very young age, veganism or sects with parents. Is it important for you as an actor to be able to do this type of topic in prime time and in front of a young audience?
It is good that it is possible to raise awareness of all these issues very early. Does it apply to my character or others like Hortens with bulimia or Greg and Elliot in the speech. These are such important topics and have taken so long to publish the words that it is very important to do it on TV.
What are your hopes for the future of your character and is there a topic you would like to discuss through Jasmine?
All important issues for me need to be addressed. So whatever I want, I will always do it with so much diligence and confidence. There is not one thing I care about most. On the other hand, playing with things that are far away from me makes me fall in love because that’s where I invite myself.
Do you have any other projects besides the TV series?
Not at the moment because I do not have time (laughs). But this is not a desire that is lacking. These are more paper projects than concrete or formal projects. These are series that I myself wrote with friends, but that I had to take a break for my work. I really want to hire them again but it is true that today I am totally on ITC and therefore I do not take the time. I hope one day I can talk about it officially.
