Chris Hemsworth has already played Thor for 11 years and was recently asked BBC Radio 1 if you want to break Jackman’s comic book record. The Extraction the actor responded happily, saying:
I wouldn’t have done that, but now that you put it in front of me, you’re right. It’s only been six years [to beat Hugh’s record of playing Wolverine]. I’ve come this far. You know? Backing out now would be a waste.

Because if he wants to break Hugh Jackman’s record playing Wolverine, Hemsworth will have to stay another six years. Although this time frame could allow him to appear in another Avengers movie, if Kevin Feige and the folks at Marvel are planning one.
Chris Hemsworth’s comments are mostly jokes, but Marvel fans would no doubt be thrilled to have their favorite hero Thor for another six years. Especially now that Deadpool can finally join the MCU and cross paths with other Marvel heroes.
Talk of Hugh Jackman’s return to Wolverine will likely continue until another actor is cast to play the MCU’s version of the clawed hero. Fans are looking forward to the mutants finally having a role in the shared universe, with strange doctor 2 including a link in the form of Professor X by Patrick Stewart .
