Dulce de leche petit gateau: a small dessert, a big flavor


The traditional petit gateau, made with dulce de leche: a small, very tasty treat, easy and quick to prepare




A warm and creamy dulce de leche cupcake.

cup = 240 ml, spoon = 15 ml, teaspoon = 10 ml, teaspoon = 5 ml

Ingredients of the small cake

– 7 tablespoons of dulce de leche

– 4 level spoons of unsalted butter

– 2 units of eggs

– 2 tablespoons of sugar

– 2 tablespoons of sifted wheat flour

Ingredients for greasing

– unsalted butter to taste

– wheat flour to taste

Finishing ingredients

– Minas fresh cheese to taste, cut into cubes

– dulce de leche to taste

PREPARATION:

1. Separate the ingredients and utensils for the recipe.

2. Preheat the oven to 200ºC.

3. Butter and flour individual cupcake molds (7cm diameter).

4. Cut the slice of Minas cheese into cubes.

PREPARATION:

1. Melt the dulce de leche with the butter in a pan (about 2 minutes).

2. In a bowl, beat the egg and set it aside.

3. Sift the dry ingredients: flour and sugar.

4. Mix the melted dulce de leche with the egg and dry ingredients.

5. Divide between greased baking trays and bake for 8 minutes.

6. The gnocchi should be cooked on the outside, but very soft on the inside.

FINALIZATION AND ASSEMBLY:

1. This dessert should be served individually assembled.

2. Arrange the gnocchi on the plates on which they will be served.

3. Place some dulce de leche next to it.

4. Arrange the Minas cheese cubes on top of the cake.

5. Serve hot.
