To the dismay of fans, the seventh season of The good doctor: The good doctorr will be the last of the series, as announced by the ABC network by releasing the first teaser of the new episodes. The production did not clarify the reason for the closure, but specified that “extremely proud of the work“done so far.

We can’t wait to give our amazing fans, the truly amazing Freddie Highmore, the rest of our talented actors (and friends), and the best crew in the business, the series finale you all deserve. For the farewell of the series, the cast will include, in addition to the returns of Highmore and Schiff, Paige Spara (Lea Murphy), Christina Chang (Audrey Lim), Fiona Gubelmann (Morgan Reznick), Will Yun Lee (Alex Park), Noah Galvin (Asher Wolke), Bria Samone Henderson (Jordan Allen) and Chuku Modu (Jared Kalu).
The good doctor follows a young doctor with autism who begins to work in a famous hospital, with the constant need to demonstrate his worth and abilities. Over time he turns out to be a genius in the field of medicine and gains not only credibility and experience, but everyone’s respect.
