Amazon Prime Video’s “Dom” series will continue to be produced despite the death of Breno Silveira, who died last May of a heart attack.
Creator, screenwriter, director and producer of the attraction, the director has even completed the recording of the second season, which is being finalized by the team of Conspiração Filmes.
Additionally, season 3 is already in development.
According to a column by Patricia Kogut of O Globo, the production should be recorded in November, centering on the life of the protagonist (played by Gabriel Leone) in prison.
“Dom” adapts the homonymous book by Tony Bellotto (author of detective novels and also guitarist of the Titãs), based on the real figure of Pedro Dom (1981-2005), the son of a policeman who became the head of a gang specialized in robbing buildings of luxury in Rio de Janeiro.
The plot explores the dynamic between the police father and his addicted son, who becomes a “fashion criminal” to bolster his addiction, to a tragic outcome.
Produced by Conspiração Filmes, the series also features in the cast Flávio Tolezani (“Mouth of the mouth”) as the policeman father of the protagonist, as well as Filipe Bragança (“Orfãos da Terra”), Raquel Villar (“Mato sem Cachorro” ), Isabella Santoni (“Pride and passion”), Ramon Francisco (“1 against all”), Digão Ribeiro (“Tooth for a tooth”), Julia Konrad (“Invisible city”), André Mattos (“Elite Squad 2”) and Fabio Lago (“Invisible City”).
