Tomorrow Belongs to Us: What’s in store for Tuesday 16 January 2024 Episode 1601 [SPOILERS]

Georges investigates Adeline’s past

Earlier, Victoire tells Adeline about her discussion with Samuel the day before – not knowing that she already heard everything. So Victoire learned that Samuel had relapsed into painkillers and left her to protect her, contrary to what she believed. If Adeline questions Samuel’s word, Victoire believes he is sincere. That doesn’t stop Adeline from advising Victoire to be careful, reminding her of the warning she found on the mirror.

At the spoon, Samuel drinks coffee with William. The latter is very worried about his health when he learns that Samuel is mixing painkillers and alcohol. But Samuel wants to manage things as he sees fit for the moment. He is awaiting rehabilitation. As for Victoire, Samuel would rather break up with her than continue her pain.

At the police station, George informs Karim that the CCTV footage of the area has turned up nothing. He then confides in her his suspicions about Adeline and the potential staged invasion. Georges investigates him: he discovers that his ex has filed a complaint against him. In fact, Adeline allegedly attacked him at work, throwing everything he could get his hands on. Georges suggests that Adeline has been holding a grudge against men ever since and that she is trying to protect Victoria from Samuel. Karim was finally convinced of this hypothesis.

Meanwhile, Victoire goes to see Samuel in the hotel room. She admits that she can’t stop thinking about everything he told her. She wishes she had known the truth sooner and been there to help her. But Samuel wanted to protect her. Crying, he asks for forgiveness. After which he explains that he should do the treatment alone. Victoire wishes him to take care of her before he leaves.

In turn, Georges goes to the hospital to question Adeline about the handcuffs her ex filed against her. Adeline tells her version of the facts: she left her ex because he cheated. When he didn’t stop harassing her after their breakup, she went to confront him directly at work. Of course, he threw things in his face, but only because he was on his nerves. Georges then asks Adeline about Samuel. Although she doesn’t know him very well, Adeline sees him as a man who offends women.

After which Georges calls Victoire, who is with Soraya at the spoon, to warn her about the turn of her investigation. He fully intends to explore this path. When he hangs up, Victoire is upset. As for Soraya, she doesn’t believe that Adeline is capable of such a thing.

While leaving the hospital, Adeline runs into Samuel. She does not hesitate to confront him and orders him to stay away from Victoire. When Reno intervenes, Adeline raises her voice and continues to defend her opinion.

After Victoire returns home, Adeline lets her anger explode. He then realizes that Victoire is searching his computer and discovers that he has done research on Samuel. Adeline excuses herself by saying that she just wanted to know about him so she could protect him. Victoria replies that they hardly know each other. Hurt, Adeline accuses Victoire of twisting her brain. The latter decides to put an end to their common residence.

In the evening, Reno and Samuel leave the restaurant where they had dinner. They say goodbye, then each goes their separate ways. Suddenly, Samuel hears the screeching of car tires, then sees the car drive away. When he turns around, he finds his father lying on the ground, unconscious…

Noor always wants to help Gabriel and Soraya

Charlie and Gabriel end up in the same boat. Francois left one, and Soraya broke up with the other. To take his mind off it, Charlie offers Gabrielle a Nordic walk.

On the trail, Charlie stops at a viewpoint and yells abuse at Francois to let off steam. He encourages Gabrielle to do the same, but she can’t because she still has very strong feelings for Soraya.

Gabriel sprains his ankle while walking. He goes to the hospital where he examines Noor, then wraps her up. If he seizes the opportunity and pushes her to insist on Soraya, Gabriel believes there is nothing more to be done to save their relationship.

Nuri then tells Soizic about the situation. The latter believes that everything will happen naturally if he has to do it. He adds that Noor can’t intervene further unless he locks them both in a room and forces them to talk to each other. This joke doesn’t fall on deaf ears…

Dorian suffers

Dorian goes to the guest room to see his mother. Although she is still struggling to accept this new reality, Benedict asks her to try to maintain some normalcy, especially by focusing on him, her life, and her future. Dorian promises to try.

Later, Luna accidentally meets Dorian outside. He is surprised that she is not in class. Dorian explains that he doesn’t want to go because he feels like he can’t concentrate.

At Spoon, Luna discusses the situation with Nathan. She asks him to talk to Dorian to motivate himself to control himself.

Nathan meets Dorian at the skate park to encourage him not to give up on his studies. Dorian notes that Nathan is fine too, even though he didn’t do any of it.
