Elton John was not present at Emmy due to recent knee surgery, but Rocket Man has been rewarded and has now achieved a position on the iconic list of artists EGOT (ANDmom, Grummy, ORscar, Tony), a title given to artists who win the four major awards in the North American entertainment industry. The victory was guaranteed on the night of Monday the 15th, when the singer won the Emmy in the Variety Special: Live category for the show “Elton John Live: Farewell from Dodger Stadium”.
