Stranger Things season 5 is slowly being revealed. The cast of the Netflix series is back on set for the final episodes, which promise to be as epic as they are moving. While the platform posts a few photos here and there to please fans, we can also rely on in-flight photos shared on social media to gather information. Like these two:

In these two images, we can see the character played by Gaten Matarazzo walking to Eddie’s grave. A tomb that appears to be defaced with writings that we cannot read at this time (Burn in hell? burn in hell?).
The presence of Dustin (who is also wearing his Hellfire Club tribute shirt) in the cemetery confirms the fact that the character did indeed die in Stranger Things season 4, wanting to sacrifice himself for the group.
A fan theory contradicts that
It’s enough to debunk fan theories that say the high school student played by Joseph Quinn isn’t dead, that he’s just stuck in an upside-down world, and that he’ll be back for the fifth and final season (unlike this actor).
Anyway, this photo is not surprising, knowing the friendly relationship that Eddie and Dustin have maintained in recent episodes. No doubt the latter will launch a vendetta against those who marked his grave and campaign to rehabilitate a former friend who was accused of murdering Chris (justice for Eddie!).
