Feature film addresses a troubled period in the life of former driver Enzo Ferrari, founder of Scuderia Ferrari and the Ferrari car factory

Previously scheduled to debut on February 8, Ferrarilong about the life of the former pilot Enzo Ferrarifounder of Scuderia Ferrari and the Ferrari car factory, will arrive a little later than expected in Brazilian cinemas.

This Tuesday (16), Diamond Films, responsible for distributing the novelty in Brazil, revealed that the film, starring Adam Driver (Marriage Stories) and with the participation of the Brazilian Gabriel Leone (Sun) in the cast, will debut only in February 22.

Ferrari shows behind the scenes of Formula 1 in 1957, when the former driver Enzo Ferrari is in crisis, with the imminent bankruptcy of his company and the difficulties in his marriage with Laura (Penelope Cruz, Parallel Mothers).

Already unstable, the relationship is further shaken by the death of the couple’s son and the involvement of Ferrari with Lina Lardi (Shailene Woodley, Divergent), which comforts him. Amidst the turmoil, he decides to bet everything he has on the iconic Mille Miglia race in Italy.

Directed by Michael Mann (The Aviator), Ferrari still has Patrick Dempsey (Grey’s Anatomy), Jack O’Connell (Invincible) It is Sarah Gadon (The Duplicate Man), among others, in the cast. Watch the trailer:
