In the first episodes of Plus belle la vie, encore plus belle, Francesco was feeling sick at the opening night of the new Mistral bar. Doctors rushed to the hospital and were surprised to find that the cook was poisoned with atropine.
Poisoning that happened a few weeks ago. For the police, only one person close enough to Francesco (Emanuele Giorgi) could do it: Estelle, his wife.
Estelle was arrested by the police
To find out if she really tried to poison her husband, the police follow Estelle (Elodie Varlett). And what will be their surprise when they discover that the young woman is still in contact with Javad (David Bayot), her former lover, who is already well known to the police.
Investigators also discovered that Francesco had taken out life insurance worth €400,000. A sum that would have gone directly to Estelle if she had lost her life. Did Javad and Estelle join forces to kill Francesco and pocket the money?
At least, that’s what the investigators who are going to stop them for questioning think. During questioning, Jawad continued to maintain his innocence, but police found a vial of canine eye drops, a product containing atropine, under his mattress.
For her part, Estelle also denies all the allegations and continues to assure the police that she and Javad are just friends. But it seems that after several hours of questioning, the young woman finally confessed…
Estelle admits everything
In an excerpt from episode 10 of Plus belle la vie, even plus belle, posted online on the platform TF1+, Estelle, at the end of her strength, admits that she wanted to kill Francesco. While Samuel (Inaki Lartigue) asks if she acted alone, Estelle replies with a lost look:Go ahead, we’ll say it’s me, because you want to hear it.”
Samuel then replies that he only wants to know the truth. He then asks her if she will admit that she wanted to kill her husband. Estelle answers in the affirmative and adds that she wanted to kill him with atropine. Samuel continues and asks how he managed to give her the poison.
He replies that he puts a few drops in his coffee every day. Samuel then asks her if she is sure she gave him a hot drink. Estelle gets confused and replies that she can put the glass in water, she doesn’t remember it anymore.
He then pleads with Samuel to stop questioning him because he doesn’t feel well, but the policeman doesn’t listen. He now wants to know if it was Javad who gave him the atropine. But Estelle repeats once again that her former companion has nothing to do with this story. He bought atropine online.
Why does Estelle want to kill Francesco? Did he just confess to the end of the interrogation? One thing is certain, these confessions will have serious consequences for Estelle, who will now have to redouble her efforts to prove her innocence. How will he do it? Answer in the following episodes of Plus belle la vie, even plus belle, broadcast from Monday to Friday on TF1 and available in preview on TF1+.
