The premiere of the Enzo Ferrari biopic has been postponed in Brazil

Brazilian Ferrari fans will have to wait a little longer to see the famous car manufacturer’s film at the cinema. The film’s premiere here in Brazil had to be postponed by two weeks. As a result, the premiere, initially scheduled for February 8th, should only take place on the 22nd of the same month.

The film, directed by Michael Mann, is based on the book about Enzo Ferrari’s life, “Enzo Ferrari: The Man and the Machine”. Enzo is the creator of the Italian team that bears his surname. Later, the team would become one of the most prestigious automotive brands in the world, thanks to its luxury models.

The Brazilian actor is the protagonist of the feature film on Ferrari

For Brazil, which had drivers such as Rubens Barrichello and Felipe Massa in the Ferrari Formula 1 team, there is another special gem in the film: the presence of a Brazilian actor. This is Gabriel Leone, who in the film plays the Spanish driver Alfonso de Portago, who distinguished himself by racing in the early years of Ferrari, but who ended up dying prematurely in a road accident.

Playing the role of Enzo Ferrari, the protagonist of the film, is Adam Driver, famous for his roles in the Star Wars saga and in Oscar-winning films. Laura Ferrari, Enzo’s wife, will be played by Penélope Cruz, another famous actress. The cast is completed by names such as Shailene Woodley, Patrick Dempsey and Jack O’Connell.
