Its “cursed” beginning
Terry O’Quinn’s career began in 1980 on American television in the TV movie FDR: The Last Year. In the same year, he was part of the adventures of Michael Cimino’s cursed film Heaven’s Door. Despite this failure, the actress went on to appear in Team Spirit (with debutant Tom Cruise), Seasons of the Heart, Mrs Soffel and Blue Fear in 1985.
After devoting time to television and appearing in series such as Remington Steele or Clair de Lune, Terry O’Quinn returned to the fore in 1987 thanks to The Stepfather. The film’s success ushered in a new heyday for the actor, who stars in Young. Guns, Blind Vengeance and The Adventures of Rocketeer, where he plays Howard Hughes.
Meet the creator of The X-Files
In 1994, the actor had a decisive meeting: Chris Carter. So, buoyed by the success of The X-Files, the creator-writer hired him for an episode of his series. Since then, the collaboration has been highlighted by the film adaptation of the series, The X-Files, the film and two regular roles in two other Carter productions: Millennium and Harsh Realm.

In 2002, after playing for JAG, Terry O’Quinn had a second decisive encounter: Abrams, who offered her the role of Kendall in Alias. O’Quinn then joined White House West for about ten episodes, while also appearing in the credits of series such as NCIS: Special Investigations or New York Special Unit.
Then, in 2004, the lost adventure began for him.
