Before you dive into this exciting story, we go over everything you need to remember from seasons 1 and 2 to fully enjoy the plot.

What is Game of Keys?

Game of Keys follows the lives of a group of friendly couples who face a life-changing challenge.

The game consists of women leaving one of their keys in a jar, while men choose one at random and trade their partner with the owner of the chosen key.

This exchange of partners triggers a series of situations and conflicts in the lives of each of the characters, challenging the boundaries of couple relationships.

Season 1: Let the Game Begin!

In the first season of The Game of Keys, the characters confront their preconceptions and paradigms about sexuality and relationships. At first, none of the attendees dare to join the game, but as they delve into their own problems, they decide to give it a chance.

The protagonist, Adriana (played by Maite Perroni), decides to end her relationship with Sergio (Sebastián Zurita), while Bárbara (Fabiola Campomanes) leaves her husband Valentín (Horacio Pancheri). Sienna (Ela Velden) breaks up with Leo (Hugo Catalán) and Óscar (Humberto Busto) gets involved with Gaby (Marimar Vega), Adriana’s best friend.

However, Adriana backs out at the last minute, arguing that it’s not the right thing to do as a married woman. Despite this, Óscar decides to have an intimate meeting with Gaby, which sparks a conflict between the pair. Throughout the season, each character faces their own dilemmas and stereotypes. Valentine struggles to come out with his homosexuality, Adriana and Gabby wonder if they’re with the right person, and Barbara experiences ups and downs in her marriage.

The season culminates with a swinger party where the protagonists seek to meet their favorite sexual partner, further exploring the boundaries of love and sexuality.

Season 2: Dealing with the Consequences

The second season of “The Game of Keys” picks up the story months after the final events of the first season. The characters try to rebuild their lives and face the consequences of their decisions.

Adriana leaves Óscar, who has to deal with Gaby’s pregnancy and his teenage daughter’s problems. In another couple swap, Adriana reunites with her ex, which rekindles feelings between them. Valentine, for his part, comes out of the closet and faces the complications that this entails, especially with his father.

Bárbara and Leo, who have lost everything, are now immersed in an open relationship with Carmen. Leo discovers that his true passion is being a stripper, but his mother-in-law Gloria insists that he marry Barbara. While Valentine tries to tell his father his true sexual orientation, his mother interrupts him and reveals that Gabby is pregnant.

Gabby and the others involved decide to continue the charade that the child she’s expecting is Valentine’s, but it all comes crashing down when Mika reveals the truth out of revenge. Astrid, one of the group’s friends, calls Sienna’s sister Venetia to prevent the latter from becoming depressed over Adriana’s lack of love.

Valentine suffers the consequences of his father’s anger, and Barbara agrees to marry Leo to get rid of her mother. Meanwhile, Gabby confirms that Oscar is still in love with Adriana and decides that ending their relationship is better than the child they are expecting. Óscar tries to get Gaby to the airport, while Adriana accepts her new life and joins a trio with Guillermo, Venecia and Carmen.

Game of Keys is a series that explores the limits of love and sexuality through a game that challenges couples’ relationships. Seasons 1 and 2 introduce us to a group of friends who face their own dilemmas and stereotypes, dealing with the consequences of their decisions and experiencing ups and downs in their relationships.
