In contact with Folha, Casey Bloys, managing director of content at Warner Bros, explained the choice of the name Max, without the use of HBO, an acronym that brings with it the strength of the channels’ fame and the high quality of the productions . “We will use HBO as one of the many cards available on Max.”

“In this tab, consumers will have access to all HBO content, such as original series and films. Content from Warner, Sony and Discovery will also have their own tabs, where you can access films, series, reality shows, sports programmes, children’s programs and much more,” adds Bloys.
