The actor will be in a new A24 production together with Kristen Dunst, Guerra Civil.

One of the biggest names in national and international cinema, Wagner Moura explored his versatility as an actor. This week, his next project received an interesting update: produced by A24 and co-star Kirsten Dunst, Civil war its premiere was anticipated for April 18.



With screenplay and direction by Alex Garland (Ex machina AND Annihilation), the project follows a group of journalists who travel across the United States in a dystopian future where the country faces an intense conflict involving the entire nation. The cast of the film also includes names like Stephen McKinley Henderson, Jesse Plemon AND Nick Offerman.

Before arriving in Hollywood cinema, Wagner began his career doing theater in Salvador. After participating in two smaller productions, he joined the cast of Flavor of passionfilm by Fina Torres hero Penelope Cruzin 2000. Since his debut in the film industry, the actor has also starred in a number of domestic hits, such as God is Brazilian, Carandiru, Man of the Year, Lower City, Oh Father, oh AND Elite teamwho immortalized him as Captain Nascimento.

Despite being a movie star, the artist is known for his appearances in soap operas and TV shows. He has credits in several TV productions including Globo Tropical paradise, The moon told me AND Fragile sex.
