Monday 29 January Tomorrow belongs to us…
Timothy will find the real culprit
At the police station, Damien tells Georges the results of his tests on the burnt black sedan that was reported to the police last Friday. The model and impact marks are consistent with the vehicle that shot down the Victoire. Damien, on the other hand, could find no trace of DNA to identify the driver. The numbers were removed and the serial number was removed. The person he is looking for is therefore not a lover. However, Damien has one last hope of reconstructing the sedan’s anti-theft signs using the window shards he removed.
A little later, Damien informs Georges that it was the car stolen from the dealership three months ago that was used in the robbery in Montpellier two days later. It was then recovered by the police, then stolen again from the Montpellier pound the day before the crash near Renault. Consulting the file, Georges discovers that Florent, his colleague from Montpellier, wrote the minutes. He tries to contact her and leaves a message for more information. Timote, on the other hand, is following the progress of operations with interest.
Meanwhile, at the hospital, Victoire goes to Adeline’s bedside, still in a coma. Victoria asks her friend to hang up. At the same time, Nori enters the room. She explains to Victoire that Adeline had gone to her house to collect her things, as had Samuel before William found her. Despite everything, Victoire continues to believe that her ex is innocent and that he would never have attacked Adeline.
Later, Victoire receives a visit from Soraya. He insists that his friend will not change his mind and defends Samuel, whom he believes is innocent. Victoire adds that even if Samuel is guilty, she will fight for him because she loves him. Soraya promises to protect her. Victoire then asks her to make sure she calls the phone. So he can talk to Samuel. The latter asks him for forgiveness for everything that happened, especially when he doubts himself. Victoire promises him that he will not let her go. When the call ended, tears welled up in Soraya’s arms.
At the police station, George, Karim and Roxanne are investigating. They regret not hearing from Florentine. Timothy researched it and managed to trace its PV history. Thus, he found that Florent had altered his declaration and had voluntarily deleted the testimony of a passerby who noted the license plate of Samuel’s rental car. Another detail, Florent questioned Micah, the graffiti artist who Georges and Karim first suspected of attacking Victoire without informing their colleagues in Sete.
Taking all these findings into account, Timothy’s hypothesis is the following: Florent is the one after Samuel. His motive remains to be discovered. In 2022, perusing the death list at St. Clair Hospital, Roxanne discovers that Florentine’s wife died in childbirth there. Thanks to the autopsy report, she confirms that Samuel was the one who gave birth at the time.
Meanwhile, Samuel leaves the prison to hear the judge. When he gets into the car that was supposed to take him to the Palace of Justice, he doesn’t know that the driver responsible for taking him is none other than Florent…
Will Soraya and Gabriel be together again?
At the port, Nathan and Charlie make fun of Gabrielle and Avaria trying to sleep with a girl other than Soraya. Gabrielle doesn’t have the heart to laugh about it, especially since her ex surprised her when she probably wanted to say something important to him – or even get back together with him. Charlie points out that Soraya’s reaction actually could have been worse, like when she hit Francoise.
At the office, Rafael immediately notices that the tension between Gabriel and Soraya continues. After planning to break up, she orders them to return to solve their problems. As Rafael leaves, Gabriel and Soraya argue.
Soraya criticizes Gabrielle for lying to her about seeing someone behind her back. Gabrielle replies that Soraya doesn’t really love him, because if she did, they would still be together.
In the evening, Soraya goes to Gabriel’s house to return the keys. But when the time comes, he declares that he wants to keep them instead, stop wasting time, and be happy. The couple kisses, finally reconciled.
Gilles is back… as a couple!
Returning to the set earlier than expected, Gilles surprises Mariana and goes straight to her workplace to see her. He explains to her that his ex-wife finished rehab earlier than expected, so she no longer needed him in Lilly. On the way, Gilles introduces Marianne to his new partner: Cécile.
The three of them go for coffee to get to know each other better. On cloud nine, Gilles and Cécile tell Marianne about their meeting, which they consider very romantic: while Gilles was changing Corinne at the funeral home, he met Cécile, who works as a florist. Less interested in their story, Marian cuts him off. Cécile then worries about her judgment, but Gilles reassures her.
Later, Mariana breaks the news to Chloe and criticizes her brother. He is sure that his relationship with a woman 20 years younger than him will not last. Chloe is amused by his reaction. First of all, he is relieved that Mariana is more worried about her brother than about his professional conversion.
In the evening, Gilles officially introduces Cecile to Chloe and Alexandre over an aperitif. Then he asks them a request: to borrow the house for the wedding. After Gilles and Cécile leave, Chloe and Alexandre are stunned. Chloe actually finds the marriage a little too hasty. But above all, he is afraid of his mother’s reaction.
