For fans of the Minions saga, good news: Illumination has finally released the first official trailer for on Sunday (28th). Despicable Me 4. The excerpt, which obviously begins with the cutest and most famous yellow characters in the world, reveals yet another expansion of the family with the arrival of a new member: Gru’s first biological son!
According to the synopsis, Gru must face a new enemy Despicable Me 4, Maxime Le Mal and his girlfriend Valentina. Faced with imminent risk, the family is forced to flee, but not without a fight, discovering that the new little family member may have “taken” some skills from his father.
It is worth remembering that the Minions universe also has two other films dedicated to yellow henchmen, given the success of the characters: servants (2015) e Minions 2: The Rise of Gru (2022). Both productions precede the events of the main franchise, My favorite evil (2010).
The 2022 prequel exceeded expectations and grossed an impressive $219 million globally in its opening weekend. The film topped the US box office and broke records on the Fourth of July, further solidifying the animated franchise.
