Initially the result was scheduled for Tuesday 30th, via the Ministry of Education (MEC) portal.
The delay in the publication of the final result of the Unified Selection System (Sisu) 2024, after the system presented instability on Tuesday the 30th, has generated a wave of anxiety, fear, criticism and even memes among students across Brazil.
Initially, Sisu would have announced the admission rankings for higher education courses at public universities yesterday, but after the instability, the Ministry of Education informed that the results will be published this Wednesday, the 31st, in the early afternoon.
The Minister of Education, Camilo Santana, informed on Wednesday morning, the 31st, that the MEC is considering extending the deadline for registering for the program by 24 hours. University for All Program (Prouni)which would end this Thursday (1st).
